Recently I have become an Ambassador for The Mumpreneurs Networking Club in Edinburgh. I decided to show other women that you don’t have to be a mother to join, just a woman who has a business.
Networking can be a challenge sometimes. Personally I find it harder to talk to a man than a woman. Women tend to listen more. Mumpreneurs not only let’s me represent my product, but allows me to bond with other women who are in a similar situation. Friendships made from the group and business partnerships have helped me grow my business.
- Build your confidence
- Start, build & grow your network
- An audience for promoting your business
- Be inspired and empowered to take action!
- Learn more about growing your business
- Rewards for when you introduce a member
- Promote your business by presenting/speaking at meetings
I really enjoy the meetings, and have not met a horrible person yet. If you are looking for a group to join check MNC out. Also the meetings start at 11am and ends at 12:30pm which means you can drop your young ones off, and have time to pick them up after the meeting. For me the time works out nicely if I end up doing a night shoot. There are also Bonus Free business mentoring sessions for members run between 12:45 and 1:15pm organised by Business Boost Expert right after the meeting.
The next meeting is June 24, at Monboddo Bar, DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre. As it is the last meeting before summer holiday’s it will be an extra special meet. The meetings will return in September. Beverley Anderson is the groups manager and is lovely to talk to.
If you want to join or visit please look at the info at the website. Scroll down to Edinburgh which will have dates for you. Please note that your first event is free. If you want to book your first event, please book by filling in the First Booking Form.
I hope this will be helpful to any women starting in business.
